Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive financial accounting experience.
- Significant leadership experience in SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at a public company.
- Active CPA license required.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations (S-X, S-K), and PCAOB standards.
- Proven experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease accounting (ASC 842).
- Track record of building and managing SOX compliance programs.
- Experience managing international entity reporting and statutory audits.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- 6+ years of Big 4 or national public accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, review, and filing of all external financial statements (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
- Establish and enforce a prescriptive global financial reporting calendar.
- Partner with Investor Relations and Corporate Communications on earnings support.
- Serve as internal expert on complex accounting issues including M&A, revenue recognition, and share-based compensation.
- Author and maintain the Global Accounting Policy Manual.
- Oversee global stock administration function and ASC 718 equity accounting.
- Drive vision and implementation of financial reporting technologies and automation.
- Design and optimize SOX internal controls (ICFR).
- Oversee international statutory audits and consolidated reporting.
