Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7+ years of hands-on MEDITECH reporting experience, with strong preference for 10+ years.
- Proven expertise with MEDITECH reporting tools, including NPR, Report Designer (RD), Data Repository (DR), and BCA.
- Strong understanding of MEDITECH data architecture, dictionaries, modules, and workflows across multiple platforms.
- Experience building reports and analytics solutions for clinical, financial, and operational use cases.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (preferred).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing healthcare environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data integration, conversion, or archival processes is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support MEDITECH reporting and analytics solutions across clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory domains.
- Gather and translate client reporting requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable reporting designs.
- Build and maintain reports, extracts, and datasets using MEDITECH tools such as NPR, Report Designer (RD), Data Repository (DR), BCA, and Quality Vantage.
- Develop and optimize dashboards and reporting outputs to ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability.
- Support reporting across multiple MEDITECH environments, including MAGIC, C/S, 6.x, and Expanse platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex data, reporting, and system issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Document technical designs, logic, and data definitions in clear, client-ready documentation.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams and client stakeholders in dynamic environments.
