Requirements
- BS in Geology or closely aligned field
- 10+ years of environmental consulting experience
- Experience with subsurface investigations and GIS
- Experience with groundwater sampling methods
- California Professional Geologist (PG) license
- Experience with stratigraphic logging and various drilling methods
- 40-hour OSHA certification and 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Responsibilities
- Conduct and manage environmental investigations and remediation for complex projects
- Coordinate field work and oversee subcontractors
- Write and review technical reports and remedial design documents
- Design and negotiate remedial solutions
- Direct the production of GIS maps and plans
- Perform statistical groundwater data evaluations
- Mentor and train junior scientific staff
- Ensure project safety, quality, and budget adherence
