Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in healthcare, business, or related fields preferred.
- 8+ years of healthcare consulting and/or hospital performance improvement experience.
- Proven background in hospital operations, clinical enterprise leadership, or healthcare process re-engineering initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex consulting engagements focused on clinical performance, care optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams, including direct supervision of individuals and cross-functional groups.
- Deep expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale transformation initiatives within healthcare environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analysis and executive presentations.
- Ability to travel as required (typically up to 50% depending on client and project needs).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior healthcare executives.
- Experience working in matrixed or cross-functional environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex healthcare performance improvement engagements, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while achieving measurable client outcomes.
- Design and implement solutions to improve clinical operations, including care coordination, length of stay reduction, and readmission prevention.
- Apply advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to identify performance gaps, quantify benefits, and mitigate operational risks.
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to assess challenges, develop tailored strategies, and present executive-level recommendations.
- Drive change management initiatives that foster adoption of new processes, clinical models, and operational improvements across healthcare organizations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams, including staffing, coaching, performance management, and capability building.
- Identify and support business development opportunities through strong client relationships and trusted advisory engagement.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and overall engagement governance.
