Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or PhD) preferred.
- 7–10+ years of marketing experience, with 10+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related commercial roles strongly preferred.
- Strong background in brand strategy, competitive intelligence, and market shaping initiatives.
- Experience in hematology or other highly competitive therapeutic areas is a plus.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills with experience integrating market research, data insights, and field feedback into strategy.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities tailored to executive and field audiences.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and ROI-driven decision-making.
- Ability to manage complex, fast-moving strategic initiatives in a matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, and strong presentation development skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including potential international travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual brand planning process, defining strategic priorities, aligning cross-functional objectives, and ensuring execution readiness.
- Partner with analytics teams to develop, refine, and validate forecasts aligned with market assumptions and strategic initiatives.
- Drive competitive readiness assessments and translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Oversee brand budget management, including forecasting, tracking, and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process in collaboration with Finance and ensure alignment with brand strategy and ROI goals.
- Develop and deliver executive-level communications and presentations for leadership forums, sales meetings, and internal stakeholders.
- Translate complex market and brand strategies into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to ensure integrated execution across promotional, patient, digital, and field initiatives.
- Lead and support high-priority strategic initiatives initiated by senior leadership, ensuring structured execution and alignment across teams.
