Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- At least 3 years in a people-leadership role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence across functions without direct authority.
- Experience running a vendor management function with clean governance and reporting.
- Familiarity with enterprise sourcing platforms like Workday Strategic Sourcing.
- Familiarity with contract repositories like DocuSign.
- Analytical fluency in spend data, contract metadata, and risk/ESG metrics.
- Track record of partnership with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, InfoSec, and Finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Own vendor lifecycle management end-to-end including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Lead contract governance including repository management, renewal pipeline forecasting, and expiration alerts.
- Administer the vendor Code of Conduct and related exception handling and recertification.
- Manage vendor ESG reporting and accountability in partnership with Corporate Sustainability.
- Maintain the vendor segmentation framework and drive tier-appropriate vendor risk reviews.
- Deliver quarterly Strategic Vendor reviews for executive leadership.
- Partner across Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, Finance, IT, and AI Transformation as a central authority for vendor strategy.
- Lead software compliance verification and reconcile client/vendor data.
