- Direct experience building underwriting products (rules engines, decision workflows, workbenches)
- Deep expertise in product discovery, market research, and strategy development
- Proficiency in using AI tools for daily working acceleration
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience establishing product methodologies and frameworks
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of product managers
- Own product strategy and vision for underwriting
- Leverage AI tools and agentic workflows for discovery and team coaching
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery
- Run rigorous discovery and backlog hygiene
- Develop and communicate underwriting roadmaps
- Define success metrics and establish data-driven feedback loops
- Build persuasive business cases and influence senior stakeholders
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations
- Coach and mentor product managers
