Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, commercial strategy, or business development.
- At least 2+ years of leadership experience managing product or commercial teams.
- Strong background in life sciences, drug discovery, biotech, or related scientific/research environments.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through product launches, pricing strategy, or portfolio optimization.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics in drug development, ADME-Tox, or related research domains is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial strategies.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments spanning product, sales, operations, and marketing.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to operate in regulated environments with strong attention to compliance and operational rigor.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall commercial product strategy across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with revenue and growth objectives.
- Develop deep expertise in product portfolios, customer segments, competitive landscape, and scientific market dynamics.
- Identify and execute strategic growth initiatives, including market expansion, product positioning, and portfolio optimization.
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive integrated execution of go-to-market strategies.
- Define pricing, discounting, and packaging strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer lifetime value.
- Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to guide data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with sales teams and customers to capture voice-of-customer insights and translate them into product improvements.
- Lead and coach a team of Commercial Product Managers and Product Operations staff, fostering strong execution and accountability.
- Support cross-functional alignment on strategic initiatives, ensuring clarity of goals and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, quality, and industry standards across product and service offerings.
