Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, preferably in mainframe, storage, or infrastructure domains.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth or product performance improvements in established product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments such as IBM mainframe, hybrid cloud, or storage systems.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams in cross-functional settings.
  • Ability to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and manage trade-offs in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical skills combining qualitative insights, customer feedback, and quantitative data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executives and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Strong technical curiosity with the ability to understand complex systems and engineering constraints.
  • Experience in customer-facing product discovery and validation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap across TMON and storage-related enterprise software solutions.
  • Define and prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, revenue opportunities, and engineering capacity.
  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision aligned with business objectives and communicate it across all stakeholders.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand requirements, validate solutions, and identify unmet needs.
  • Monitor competitive and market trends in the mainframe and infrastructure software ecosystem to ensure strong product differentiation.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to make informed technical trade-offs and guide product development decisions.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with positioning, competitive insights, and go-to-market materials that drive adoption and revenue.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches, lifecycle management, and continuous portfolio optimization.
