Requirements
- BA or BS in accounting or related discipline.
- 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP.
- 1+ years of Cloud-based accounting software experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Deep understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly and quarterly close-related activities including the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Support the management of lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842.
- Maintain and update corporate debt schedules for various debt instruments and credit facilities.
- Oversee or support the fixed asset lifecycle including capitalization, depreciation, and retirement processing.
- Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal.
