Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Experience in clinical development in dermatology, allergy, immunology, or rheumatology.
- 2+ years of industry experience as a medical monitor and/or medical director.
- Experience working on phase 2 and 3 clinical studies.
- Effective communication skills with ability to present to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for in-person meetings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a medical monitor for study execution including safety reporting and medical monitoring plans.
- Support the design of clinical trials and develop protocols and relevant study documents.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical and medical execution of studies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including clinical operations, regulatory, biostatistics, and data management.
- Collaborate with clinical operations on site selection, recruitment, and CRO management.
- Partner with medical affairs to maintain relationships with PIs and support Advisory/Scientific Boards.
- Serve as the primary medical point of contact for clinical sites and PIs.
