Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Current RN training.
- 5 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Experience in medical staff services, credentialing, or quality improvement.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards such as The Joint Commission.
- Proficiency in healthcare data management and credentialing software.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory standards.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Certified Peer Reviewer credential is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the peer review process including scheduling, communication, and documentation.
- Oversee the implementation and administration of FPPE and OPPE programs.
- Analyze practitioner performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit facility enrollment applications to payers and government entities.
- Maintain accurate records and resolve issues during the enrollment process.
- Act as a liaison between medical staff, quality improvement, and administrative departments.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and state regulations.
