Requirements
- Track record of directly managing and scaling larger engineering teams (10+ ICs)
- Deep technical competence in full-stack engineering or architecture
- Experience in large-scale distributed systems
- Able to set a roadmap for a team and its members
- Strong customer and business focus
- Desire to coach a team and foster healthy culture
- Customer focused and self-directed
- Familiarity with or strong interest in AI/ML engineering practices
- Experience specifically around serving, prompt engineering, or productionizing LLM/classical workflows at scale
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-impact team of 13 engineers enabling automated AI training and human-in-the-loop workflows at the core of Reddit’s safety strategy
- Own the user-facing tools used by moderators to define and automatically enforce the rules in their communities
- Own the centralized platform used by admins to train AI models for content and behavior detection at scale
- Process reports and appeals and investigate suspicious users and activity
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, ML, and Operations to define and execute an AI-first platform strategy
