Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in plant controllership and/or FP&A, preferably in a PE-backed environment.
- Experience in operations analysis and cost accounting (standard costing, activity-based costing, variance analysis).
- Deep understanding of controllership responsibilities in manufacturing/distribution.
- Demonstrated experience driving improvements in manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Strong knowledge of key income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow drivers.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Success in building and developing strong client relationships.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients across the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies specializing in manufacturing and distribution.
- Provide expert advice on inventory management strategies, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Develop and operationalize US-GAAP compliant inventory accounting policies.
- Design, implement, and improve standard costing systems.
- Develop and implement frameworks for budgeting, cost control, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio company representatives and Private Equity sponsors.
- Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions.
- Mentor team members by coaching colleagues and providing performance reviews.
