Requirements
- Advanced degree required (MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs.
- Prior experience as an MSL is required.
- Background in endocrinology, nephrology, or genetics.
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to ideate and execute strategy quickly and independently.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven with high emotional intelligence and professional maturity.
- Ability to travel ~60% of the time, including to San Francisco Office and U.S. conferences.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with external experts and HCPs for disease state awareness and genetic identification.
- Advance clinical practice and improve patient outcomes by engaging key stakeholders across the assigned territory.
- Cultivate professional relationships with KOLs and influential HCPs.
- Serve as a scientific resource and strategic partner to HCPs to support patient identification and care pathways.
- Conduct customer engagements on data, clinical trials, treatment barriers, and pipeline updates.
- Provide medical and scientific support for cross-functional teams.
- Assist with clinical study site identification and investigator education.
- Support investigator-initiated research and development of scientific publications.
- Participate in the planning and execution of advisory boards and medical education initiatives.
- Collect and relay field-based insights to inform clinical strategy.
