Requirements
- Track record as a Staff/Principal Engineer or Technical Founder.
- Deep experience in backend system architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong API design skills.
- Highly proficient in LLM orchestration, AI agents, and data pipelines.
- Ability to move from high-level idea to production-ready implementation.
- Proven ability to hire and mentor strong engineering teams.
- Fluent in both English and German.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the framework for AI agents, automation workflows, LLM integrations, and RAG systems.
- Actively contribute to the codebase, building AI toolchains, event-driven automation, and decision systems.
- Work directly with the founder to identify automation opportunities.
- Validate solutions with real customers.
- Recruit and mentor a small, elite team of builders.
- Foster a pragmatic, high-velocity engineering culture.
- Act as the internal authority on AI and educate stakeholders.
