Requirements
- Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining the CPA.
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in public accounting.
- Experience in industries such as Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial services, or Non-Profits.
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisor experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to audit complex accounts like inventory, revenue, equity / stock options.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- SEC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple engagements and resolve legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
- Supervise and manage services including audit strategy, budgets, scheduling, and staff allocation.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Research and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
- Mentor and train staff through feedback and career guidance.
- Draft and deliver proposals for engagements.
- Ensure audit quality management and champion audit excellence.
