Requirements

  • Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining the CPA.
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in public accounting.
  • Experience in industries such as Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial services, or Non-Profits.
  • Demonstrated leadership/supervisor experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to audit complex accounts like inventory, revenue, equity / stock options.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • SEC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple engagements and resolve legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
  • Supervise and manage services including audit strategy, budgets, scheduling, and staff allocation.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Research and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
  • Mentor and train staff through feedback and career guidance.
  • Draft and deliver proposals for engagements.
  • Ensure audit quality management and champion audit excellence.
