Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance or financial crime compliance, preferably in an international environment
  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong analytical skills, good writing ability, and sound judgment
  • Basic understanding of the FCC domain, related processes, and relevant technology
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and locations
  • People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • ACAMS or ACFCS certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance sanctions governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide expert analysis and interpretation of sanctions and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulatory requirements.
  • Support the design and implementation of compliance monitoring and testing programs focused on sanctions governance.
  • Identify, assess, and document sanctions-related compliance risks across Binance’s global operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to embed sanctions governance and policy standards.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and internal policy changes globally.
  • Assist in the assessment and enhancement of the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) risk profile related to sanctions.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Support project management activities related to sanctions governance and policy initiatives.
