Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compliance or financial crime compliance, preferably in an international environment
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical skills, good writing ability, and sound judgment
- Basic understanding of the FCC domain, related processes, and relevant technology
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and locations
- People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Clear and effective communicator
- ACAMS or ACFCS certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance sanctions governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide expert analysis and interpretation of sanctions and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulatory requirements.
- Support the design and implementation of compliance monitoring and testing programs focused on sanctions governance.
- Identify, assess, and document sanctions-related compliance risks across Binance’s global operations.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to embed sanctions governance and policy standards.
- Monitor regulatory developments and internal policy changes globally.
- Assist in the assessment and enhancement of the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) risk profile related to sanctions.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and knowledge-sharing forums.
- Support project management activities related to sanctions governance and policy initiatives.
