Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
5+ years of experience in last-mile delivery, on-demand logistics, or same-day fulfillment.
Hands-on experience managing DoorDash, Roadie, Uber, or equivalent on-demand delivery networks.
Experience with zone-skipping or carrier optimization programs (UPS, FedEx, or regional).
Familiarity with routing and dispatch software (e.g., OptimoRoute, Circuit, DispatchTrack).
Strong data and analytics skills for building performance dashboards.
Proven ability to manage external vendor/carrier relationships and SLA accountability.
Ability to travel to fulfillment locations (approx. 35% of the year).

Responsibilities

Drive zone-skipping strategy in partnership with UPS and other carriers to reduce costs.
Design and scale same-day/next-day local delivery offerings and manage local pickup operations.
Build and manage the hub and spoke local delivery framework and operational playbooks.
Establish and track delivery KPIs including cost per delivery and SLA compliance.
Develop and maintain safety and licensing standards for company-operated fleet assets.
Partner with Technology, Supply Chain, and Merchandising teams for inventory and aggregator alignment.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with carriers and vendors.
