Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience within public safety, emergency communications, or PSAP operations.
- Experience serving at the Deputy Director level or above (or equivalent senior leadership role).
- Deep expertise across PSAP operations, NG911, CAD, emergency communications workflows, and public safety technology trends.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with PSAP leaders, industry associations (NENA/APCO), and executive stakeholders.
- Strong strategic leadership experience driving scalable programs and operational improvements.
- Ability to translate customer feedback and market insights into actionable product and business strategies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills, including executive presentations and workshops.
- Collaborative, data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and measuring success.
Responsibilities
- Lead Axon 911’s public safety strategy, strengthen industry partnerships (NENA/APCO), mentor the Public Safety team, and drive KPIs, scalability, innovation, and long-term growth.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to align solutions with customer needs, improve onboarding/training, and drive adoption.
- Gather customer feedback to influence product enhancements, prioritize AI-related initiatives, and coordinate early-access programs.
- Support market expansion and deal strategy through industry expertise, customer relationships, speaking engagements, and workshops.
- Optimize workflows and processes while driving measurable outcomes tied to customer satisfaction, retention, and business improvements.
