Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA license.
- 7+ years of progressive experience with financial reporting at a publicly traded company.
- Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings.
- Strong command of SEC rules, regulations, and U.S. GAAP.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and SEC filing software (e.g., Workiva, ActiveDisclosure).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Highly self-directed with ability to deliver against strict SEC timelines.
- Collaborative critical thinker.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end preparation, drafting, and compilation of quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) financial statements.
- Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements for global and local regulatory needs.
- Stay current with SEC, PCAOB, and FASB standards and update accounting policies accordingly.
- Support monthly/quarterly close processes for timely financial reporting.
- Provide technical guidance on U.S. GAAP for global subsidiaries.
- Review significant contracts and unique transactions for accounting and SEC disclosure implications.
- Act as primary liaison for external auditors.
- Strengthen ICFR monitoring to mitigate financial reporting risks.
- Lead financial reporting process documentation and XBRL tagging reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation in financial reporting workflows.
