Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license and State Bar membership in good standing.
- 3–5 years of related legal experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CLM programs.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build scalable processes, playbooks, and templates.
- Experience advising on corporate matters, commercial transactions, and risk management.
- Experience with California law (preferred).
- Experience supporting buy-side M&A transactions (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including customer, supplier, licensing, and services contracts.
- Oversee IP lifecycle management including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Advise on marketing materials, product warranties, and employment-related policies.
- Research and interpret laws to guide business decisions and reduce risk.
- Provide legal support for M&A and corporate governance activities.
- Create and maintain agreement playbooks, templates, and compliance processes.
