Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
- 3 years of successful teaching experience including experience as a virtual teacher.
- Georgia Special Education certification.
- Knowledge of state and charter school law and regulations.
- Knowledge of the State Performance Standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and evaluate virtual academy teachers.
- Develop and implement data-driven program designs.
- Provide professional development to teaching staff.
- Coordinate testing readiness and school compliance tasks.
- Collaborate with administration and parents.
- Develop and implement school policies and procedures.
- Conduct data-driven conferences with teachers.
- Maintain accurate records according to state requirements.
