Requirements
- Strong understanding of Indian employment laws, including the Shops & Establishments Act and Industrial Disputes Act.
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases in a complex or fast-paced organizational environment.
- Ability to conduct investigations, manage case documentation, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Resilient and adaptable mindset with the ability to work effectively in changing business environments.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong growth mindset and collaborative attitude.
- Experience within multinational or matrixed organizations, exposure to SEA or ANZ jurisdictions, or qualifications in HR or Employment Law are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a wide range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, reorganisations, investigations, and mutual separations.
- Partner with managers and HR stakeholders to ensure employee relations processes are handled fairly, consistently, and in compliance with applicable employment laws and internal policies.
- Conduct or assist with investigations, including documentation, note-taking, report preparation, and maintenance of accurate case records.
- Deliver training sessions and guidance to managers and People teams to improve employee relations knowledge and best practices.
- Support the development, review, and maintenance of policies, templates, agreements, and employee relations documentation.
- Analyse employee relations trends and case data to identify areas for improvement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including early resolution frameworks and digitalisation or AI-driven enhancements within HR processes.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on broader employee relations initiatives and projects.
