Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
- Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly project accounting efforts and lead status meetings with project managers.
- Review and reconcile new projects, change orders, budget adjustments, and carve-outs.
- Set up new clients in accounting systems and map employees to billable rates.
- Review intercompany revenue/cost transactions and facilitate project scope changes.
- Assist with revenue recognition and ensure compliance with client contracts.
- Prepare monthly project revenue forecasts and compare against budget/plan.
- Prepare and review approved client invoicing and follow up on past-due invoices.
- Review and submit monthly client accruals and consolidate with other entities.
- Responsible for setup and tracking of new employees and subcontractor hours/expenses.
- Review coding for expense reports, invoices, and credit card bookings.
