Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years related business experience in a medium to large size business.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful.
- Prior experience with SAP (plus).
- Prior experience with services accounting, revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting (plus).
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with management to improve operational and financial performance.
- Enforce cost analysis policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
- Prepare P&L variance analysis and budget-to-actual comparisons.
- Develop best practice process flows.
- Develop and maintain KPI summary reporting.
- Ensure financial data integrity through error detection and correction.
