Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proven track record of building cloud-based, production-grade data pipelines.
- Strong expertise in Databricks and SQL.
- Experience with dbt and Python.
- Experience with cloud data ecosystems such as Azure.
- Experience with structured and semi-structured data from diverse domains.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Azure Data Factory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain architecture standards and best practices.
- Build automated systems for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Optimize data storage and processing in cloud data warehouses (Azure, Databricks).
- Monitor batch and streaming data processes for accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain documentation and lineage tracking for data governance.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
- Review and refine work completed by team members.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
- Integrate APIs and third-party systems into data platforms.
