Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior-level responsibilities
- Strong background in hands-on accounting, reporting, and financial operations
- Experience in small to mid-sized or high-growth organizations
- Proven ability to build budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Experience with SaaS metrics such as MRR and ARR and revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)
- Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks and other financial or operational systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate independently while partnering closely with executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger, month-end close process, and preparation of financial statements
- Oversee bookkeeping support including AP, AR, payroll coordination, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with best practices
- Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital optimization
- Support strategic initiatives as a financial partner to the CEO
- Improve financial systems, processes, and tools to support scalability and efficiency
