Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Business or HR.
  • 3-5+ years of compensation and/or recognition experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Intermediate knowledge of provincial legislation Canada-wide, particularly pay equity and transparency.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to distill large quantities of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, etc).
  • Knowledge of Workday (asset).
  • Bilingual FR/EN (asset).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute annual corporate merit reviews, deferred profit-sharing plans, and incentives.
  • Develop and maintain monthly corporate salary, bonus, and position count forecasts.
  • Develop and implement analytics to assess and optimize total rewards programs.
  • Conduct job evaluations for role classification, benchmarking, and alignment.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for compensation recommendations and pay equity.
  • Build and sustain a pay governance framework promoting internal equity and compliance.
  • Engage in industry surveys to ensure competitiveness.
  • Create compensation training resources for the business.
