Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business or HR.
- 3-5+ years of compensation and/or recognition experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of provincial legislation Canada-wide, particularly pay equity and transparency.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to distill large quantities of data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, etc).
- Knowledge of Workday (asset).
- Bilingual FR/EN (asset).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute annual corporate merit reviews, deferred profit-sharing plans, and incentives.
- Develop and maintain monthly corporate salary, bonus, and position count forecasts.
- Develop and implement analytics to assess and optimize total rewards programs.
- Conduct job evaluations for role classification, benchmarking, and alignment.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition for compensation recommendations and pay equity.
- Build and sustain a pay governance framework promoting internal equity and compliance.
- Engage in industry surveys to ensure competitiveness.
- Create compensation training resources for the business.
