Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education in HR.
- 3-5 years of experience working with a variety of group benefits programs.
- Bilingual (English/French) proficiency required.
- Intermediate knowledge of provincial legislation Canada-wide, including pay equity.
- Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distill large quantities of data.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and independently manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex tier two inquiries and manage third-party vendor SLAs.
- Administer life and disability programs and monitor vendor performance.
- Develop pay equity plans, conduct data analysis, and manage government audits.
- Establish and evolve total rewards policies to ensure legislative compliance.
- Coordinate and execute annual benefits enrolment and conduct testing.
- Provide retirement plan governance to ensure CAP compliance.
- Establish and administer employee perk programs.
- Develop comprehensive benefit and HR policy training resources.
