- Proven experience in the Australian market.
- Background in crypto, fintech, or a startup environment.
- Proven track record of executing high-quality events.
- Execution-first mindset with a focus on delivering results.
- Deep understanding of Australian culture and audience behavior.
- Ability to operate in a highly regulated and sensitive environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills for agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Experience working in lean or rebuilding team environments.
- Strong judgment to balance global brand requirements with local nuance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end events including meetups, workshops, and activations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of events from concept to post-event reporting.
- Ensure all events comply with local regulations and internal policies.
- Build and nurture a local community online and offline.
- Identify and manage key community leaders and micro-KOLs.
- Translate global brand messaging into locally relevant, trust-driven content.
- Partner with PR to ensure alignment between events and media narrative.
- Identify and execute partnerships with local organizations and communities.
- Track event performance, community growth, and acquisition metrics.
