  • Deep understanding of Australian culture and audience behavior.
  • Ability to operate in a highly regulated and sensitive environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills for agencies, vendors, and partners.
  • Experience working in lean or rebuilding team environments.
  • Strong judgment to balance global brand requirements with local nuance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute end-to-end events including meetups, workshops, and activations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of events from concept to post-event reporting.
  • Ensure all events comply with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Build and nurture a local community online and offline.
  • Identify and manage key community leaders and micro-KOLs.
  • Translate global brand messaging into locally relevant, trust-driven content.
  • Partner with PR to ensure alignment between events and media narrative.
  • Identify and execute partnerships with local organizations and communities.
  • Track event performance, community growth, and acquisition metrics.
