Requirements

  • Strong understanding of rural and regional communities and community-led approaches.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and internal teams.
  • Competence in coordinating the delivery of community initiatives, events, and engagement activities.
  • Experience supporting partnership development, including researching prospects and tracking opportunities.
  • Confidence working with systems, data, and evolving technology, including AI tools.
  • Relevant qualification in community development, social sciences, philanthropy, or a related field (e.g., Social Work, Sociology, Public Policy).
  • Equivalent practical experience is acceptable in lieu of a formal qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a part-time (0.8 FTE) capacity.
  • Commitment to the values and strategic goals of the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day support for community foundations, fundraising accounts and philanthropic service partners.
  • Maintain partner records, workflows, reporting schedules, agreements and correspondence.
  • Coordinate routine donor and partner communications, including onboarding, updates and reporting inputs.
  • Support partnership development by researching prospects, tracking opportunities and maintaining pipelines.
  • Help coordinate events, meetings, campaigns and engagement activities.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of community philanthropy initiatives and learning activities.
  • Maintain accurate systems, templates and administrative processes across philanthropic services.
  • Track delivery milestones, deadlines and reporting requirements to ensure commitments are met.
  • Provide capability building support for community philanthropy partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams like Finance, Grants, and Communications to support smooth delivery.
