Requirements

  • Experience selling food products (ingredients, supplies, or beverages) to restaurants, hotels, or other HoReCa clients
  • Background in distribution, wholesale, or food supply
  • Understanding of food pricing, margins, and chef buying decisions
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts
  • Ability to manage multiple demanding relationships simultaneously
  • Fluent German (C1)
  • Good English skills

Responsibilities

  • Introduce Saltz to chefs, restaurant owner, F&B managers and convince them to start placing orders using the platform
  • Own a portfolio of restaurant and other HoReCa accounts
  • Grow existing restaurant accounts
  • Visit clients regularly to walk the kitchen and understand their challenges
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Build relationships with chefs, GMs, and procurement teams
  • Turn client feedback into actionable input for the platform
  • Represent Saltz at industry events, trade visits, and in-person meetings
