Requirements

  • Experience running B2B field marketing programs or event portfolios with both large-scale and grassroots activations.
  • Strong event marketing background with creative instincts in audience segmentation and campaign mechanics.
  • Experience managing fabrication, booth design, or brand experience at events.
  • Ability to brief designers and hold vendors to a high standard.
  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, distributed team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Based in the UK or Europe.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel across Europe, and to the US & Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Lead event marketing strategy and execution — audience targeting, multi-channel campaigns (email, social, partnerships, content), registration drives, and post-event follow-up.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for Ahrefs Evolve confirmed speakers.
  • Own creative direction for Evolve, our global annual conference — including fabrication, booth design, and overall brand experience.
  • Manage sponsorship booth design and creative for European field events and regional activations.
  • Lead swag creative direction: concept, design standards, and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Events and Global Partnerships & Revenue Manager on Evolve strategy and sponsorship activation planning.
  • Manage timelines and creative vendor relationships across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional communities, partners, and event venues across Europe.
  • Provide cross-regional creative support for select events in Singapore and the US.
  • Track and report on event performance — attendance, engagement, brand impact, and ROI.
