Requirements
- Senior-level undergraduate or graduate student.
- Academic focus in geography, international relations, political science, climate, environment, food systems, agriculture, entrepreneurship, or related.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
- Preferred: International experience.
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted tools.
- Preferred: Experience with brochures, reports, or presentations.
- Preferred: Experience contributing to grant applications or proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on prospective individual, foundation, and institutional donors.
- Compile and synthesize information into donor profiles and prospect briefs.
- Support identification of new funding opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and current donor and prospect records in CRM/database.
- Support data quality and hygiene efforts.
- Draft, edit, and format donor-facing content such as impact updates and briefing materials.
- Provide general administrative support including calendar management and meeting coordination.
