Requirements

  • Senior-level undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Academic focus in geography, international relations, political science, climate, environment, food systems, agriculture, entrepreneurship, or related.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
  • Preferred: International experience.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with brochures, reports, or presentations.
  • Preferred: Experience contributing to grant applications or proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on prospective individual, foundation, and institutional donors.
  • Compile and synthesize information into donor profiles and prospect briefs.
  • Support identification of new funding opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and current donor and prospect records in CRM/database.
  • Support data quality and hygiene efforts.
  • Draft, edit, and format donor-facing content such as impact updates and briefing materials.
  • Provide general administrative support including calendar management and meeting coordination.
