Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in HR administration or payroll.
  • Sound knowledge of German and Austrian labor, payroll tax, and social security law.
  • Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday.
  • Proficiency in DATEV.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Structured and independent working style.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and service orientation.
  • Fluent German (spoken and written).
  • Very good English skills (company language).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle (onboarding, contracts, exits, absences).
  • Prepare, conduct, and verify monthly payroll for accuracy.
  • Act as the interface to external payroll service providers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.
  • Maintain high-quality personnel data in Workday.
  • Administer benefits and company pension schemes.
  • Ensure compliance with German labor, tax, and social security laws.
  • Communicate with authorities, health insurance providers, and social insurance carriers.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support management decisions.
  • Support HRBP team with administrative documentation and HR programs.
