Requirements
- 15 years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations.
- 10 years managing large federal infrastructure or operational support programs.
- Experience supporting enterprise Infrastructure Operations within the VA, DoD, or similar agencies.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud operational environments (AWS, Azure, VMware, OpenShift).
- Experience in operational governance (SLA/KPI management, risk management, customer engagement).
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance (RMF, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP).
- Ability to lead geographically dispersed technical teams.
- Strong communication skills for executive briefings and cross-functional leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise Application Hosting / Compute & Storage operations.
- Oversee operational delivery for hosting, cloud, compute, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery.
- Manage operational governance including SLA/KPI tracking, risk management, and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams supporting server admin, storage, backup, and DevSecOps.
- Support transition planning and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements (RMF, NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery.
