Job Details

Experience: 3-5+ years

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one US state.
3-5+ years of relevant legal experience.
1-2 years in-house at a SaaS or technology company.
Deep knowledge of federal, state, and global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
Familiarity with SaaS procurement models and SOC 2 requirements.
Experience with public APIs and open-access data terms.
Experience managing legal tech tools (CLM software).
CIPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute global privacy compliance efforts (GDPR, CPRA).
Manage day-to-day privacy operations, including DPAs and DSARs.
Lead the negotiation of commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, and data licenses.
Streamline the contract lifecycle management (CLM) process.
Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal implications of new features and APIs.
Draft and maintain public-facing terms of service.
Provide legal guidance to HR on employment matters.
Manage legal operations infrastructure and internal training programs.
