Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
- Proven track record managing complex supply chains, strategic procurement, or sourcing operations.
- Experience within the clean energy ecosystem or a highly parallel, technical hardware industry.
- Written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple Tier-1 suppliers simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce stringent quality standards and deliver under compressed timelines.
- First-principles approach to solving ambiguous problems.
- Ability to work well individually or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the co-founders to launch, lead, and manage local operations in China.
- Develop and manage the strategic supplier and purchasing footprint in China.
- Drive hands-on quality enforcement and performance tracking across multiple external factories.
- Assemble and lead an elite local team of experts.
- Serve as the critical, real-time communication interface between Chinese technical and manufacturing ecosystems and UK teams.
