Supplier Quality Engineer

Audit supplier production lines and quality systems, and track corrective actions to closure.
Own quality through new product introduction, including first article inspection, pilot builds, and ramp to mass production.
Work with R&D on manufacturing standards, certifications, and acceptance criteria.
Run incoming and outgoing quality control with clear acceptance criteria for each supplier.
Lead root-cause analysis on defects using 8D reports and FMEA, and push suppliers to implement permanent fixes.
Track supplier quality performance, including defect rate and yield.
Act as the real-time quality link between Chinese factories and UK teams.

Engineering at Fuse Energy

You will engineer the core digital infrastructure for a next-generation energy company. We are building a real-time digital twin of our renewable generation and customer demand. You will develop robust messaging interfaces with third-party providers. Expect to build high-volume pipelines for processing millions of customer energy consumption data points. This involves crafting the backend of a world-class energy app. We use technologies like Google Maps API and British Server Locations, emphasizing highly-available production systems. Experience with infrastructure as code, like AWS CDK, is a bonus.
