Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations in manufacturing or industrial distribution
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems and procurement workflows
- Solid understanding of purchasing principles, inventory management, and supplier coordination processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and external suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving operational environment
- Familiarity with Incoterms, freight terms, or global sourcing practices is considered a plus
- Experience in wire, cable, or industrial manufacturing environments is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Responsibilities
- Manage complex purchasing activities across assigned categories, including issuing, tracking, and maintaining multi-line purchase orders
- Coordinate supplier RFQs by gathering, analyzing, and comparing quotes from approved vendors
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data within ERP systems to support operational and reporting needs
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure performance across cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms while resolving supplier issues to ensure on-time fulfillment
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support project requirements and prevent stock-outs
- Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to manage distribution inventory for cable and component materials
- Support communication between sales teams and suppliers to ensure visibility on order status and customer commitments
- Conduct purchasing analysis, supplier evaluations, and administrative procurement tasks with high accuracy
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency and supply chain performance
