Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, community partnerships, fundraising, or sponsorship acquisition.
- Experience in nonprofit or community engagement environments with a focus on civic groups and education relationships.
- Demonstrated success in securing donors, sponsors, or community partnerships.
- Experience preparing proposals, pitches, and partnership stewardship plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High data proficiency with ability to work with data sets.
- Exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with Netsuite, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential community partners aligned with organizational priorities.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage new donors, sponsors, and partnership prospects.
- Secure commitments through compelling presentations, proposals, and value-aligned discussions.
- Build rapport with diverse stakeholders to cultivate trust and long-term engagement.
- Establish stewardship and renewal frameworks that drive retention and expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to activate partnerships and ensure deliverables are met.
- Track progress toward acquisition and fundraising targets, providing regular updates.
- Contribute to partnership strategy development based on market insights.
