Requirements
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, relational database management and cloud storage services
- Experience operating and tuning PostgreSQL or similar relational databases in production
- Experience deploying containerized applications
- Experience working with Github Actions and Terraform
- Capable of scripting in bash, ruby and/or python
- Able to break down a complex task and document its solution
- Experience with AWS ECS/EKS Fargate
- Experience operating or tuning OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters
- Reside permanently and currently in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Design, improve, and deploy infrastructure services to AWS
- Collaborate with product engineers to deploy new features
- Improve infrastructure reliability, resilience, and security
- Manage database operations and performance tuning
- Manage search infrastructure (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch)
- Manage observability and monitoring
- Scale and harden production systems
