Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years in infrastructure/platform roles
- Deep production experience with Clojure or another functional language
- Experience profiling and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of monorepo build tools like Bazel and Buck
- Expertise with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Operational experience with JVM
- Familiarity with GCP and BigQuery
- Experience with Kafka, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code
Responsibilities
- Improve developer velocity across the engineering organization.
- Optimize build times, test parallelization, and deployment rollout speed.
- Shape the architecture of production infrastructure.
- Evaluate trade-offs and make high-impact technical decisions.
- Participate in incident response for infrastructure.
- Systematically identify and retire legacy infrastructure systems.
- Provide technical guidance through code and design reviews.
