Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR operations experience.
- Strong experience managing multi-state payroll for 600+ employees.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Rippling strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of wage and hour laws and payroll compliance.
- Knowledge of benefits regulations (ACA, COBRA, FMLA).
- Experience in retail or service-based organizations preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing for 600+ exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Serve as primary administrator for Rippling HRIS, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
- Oversee administration of health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, ACA, COBRA, and FMLA.
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll reconciliation, audits, and labor cost reporting.
- Manage and respond to unemployment claims, EEO-1 reporting, and multi-worksite reporting.
- Develop and improve HR operational processes and workflow automation.
- Partner with field leadership to support HR and payroll needs.
