Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in multi-unit retail store design and visual merchandising management.
- 1–2 years of experience managing a team.
- Retail experience required; gift, toy, or hard goods retail background preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Google Suite.
- Familiarity with space design tools such as SketchUp.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to travel 50%-70% of the time across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Originate and advance retail store design concepts and in-store experiences.
- Create and maintain brand standards, visual and signage guidelines, and merchandising directives.
- Oversee the design of new store openings, remodels, and seasonal refreshes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and external vendors to manage fixtures and branding.
- Monitor retail and design trends to evolve the in-store experience.
- Lead and mentor a small group of direct reports.
- Execute hands-on implementation by building fixtures and setting displays in stores.
