Requirements
- 3-5+ years experience in humanitarian needs analysis.
- 2+ years experience producing actionable humanitarian data tools.
- Experience applying frameworks such as IPC, MIRA, or sectoral assessments.
- Technical fluency in data analytics and data science.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable analysis approaches.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-changing, high-stakes environments.
Responsibilities
- Assess humanitarian needs in crisis-affected populations.
- Integrate traditional and novel data sources into targeting systems.
- Provide targeting analysis and visualize data on maps and dashboards.
- Generate enrollment lists for emergency cash programs.
- Monitor global risks and crises for activation decisions.
- Participate in product development and user requirements gathering.
- Conduct agile experiments to validate crisis detection and targeting.
- Define and track success metrics for targeting tools.
