Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, CS, engineering, or equivalent
- Native product knowledge of the on-chain DeFi stack
- Prior investment experience, ideally at a crypto fund
- Experience as an operator in product or technical functions at DeFi projects
- Track record of forming investment theses
- Excellent research and communication skills
- Data-oriented with ability to synthesize findings
- Self-starter capability
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and market dynamics
- Create detailed investment memos and financial models
- Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities
- Proactively generate deal flow across liquid and venture DeFi investments
- Build and maintain relationships with founders and operators
- Monitor portfolio company performance and token metrics
- Prepare regular portfolio updates and performance reports
- Publish blog posts and research insights
- Represent the firm at industry events
