Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, Retention Marketing, or Marketing Automation within SaaS, subscription, freemium, or PLG environments.
- Hands-on experience with lifecycle and automation tools such as Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot, or Iterable.
- Strong understanding of event-based tracking, behavioral triggers, and user lifecycle segmentation.
- Proven ability to improve key product metrics such as activation, retention, re-engagement, churn reduction, and conversion.
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams on data, tracking, and product analytics tools (e.g., Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or PostHog).
- Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to craft effective lifecycle messaging and automation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing system, including behavioral email flows, automation logic, and retention infrastructure across the customer journey.
- Design and optimize upsell and conversion journeys, including trigger-based sequences, segmentation models, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Develop retention and churn reduction programs, including satisfaction scoring, NPS workflows, win-back campaigns, and churn prediction.
- Define and implement lifecycle infrastructure, including ESP selection, event tracking requirements, and data pipeline integrations.
- Establish reporting dashboards and performance tracking systems to monitor retention health and lifecycle KPIs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate behavioral signals into scalable lifecycle automation and user journey logic.
