Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or related IT/healthcare roles
- Experience working with complex healthcare systems (EHR, billing, scheduling, or similar)
- Strong understanding of system configuration, integration, and application lifecycle management
- Experience participating in or supporting IT projects
- Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into system requirements
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Epic certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain)
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, configure, implement, and maintain healthcare applications across their full lifecycle
- Document workflows and translate business requirements into functional and technical system designs
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex application issues
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to support integrations and enhancements
- Manage or support mid-sized projects
- Perform quality reviews of system builds
- Develop test plans, scripts, and validation processes
- Support reporting and analytics needs
- Participate in on-call rotations and command center support
- Assist in forecasting, resource planning, and capital planning
